Business German for Beginners. Start Speaking German at Work.
Business German for Beginners is a B2B course for professionals in Finland who are new to German and need to build practical communication skills for business use. The course is taught in Finnish and designed around real workplace situations: the first interactions with German-speaking clients and colleagues, professional written communication, phone and video calls, meetings, and the everyday business vocabulary that makes working in German possible. Available as B2B group courses, 1:1 coaching, or onsite programs at the company's premises, including Helsinki, Espoo, Tampere, Turku, Oulu, Jyväskylä, Vaasa, Kuopio, Lahti, or fully online.
Business German from day one — without wasting time on what doesn't matter at work
Most beginner German courses start the same way: classroom vocabulary, textbook dialogues, grammar exercises without context. For a professional who needs to use German at work, this is a slow route to a distant destination. The workplace has its own German — a specific vocabulary, a specific set of situations, and a specific register that general beginner courses reach only after months of general-purpose content that may never be needed in the office.
Business German for Beginners takes a different approach. From the first session, participants work with the German they will actually use: introducing themselves to a German-speaking client, joining a meeting, writing a short professional email, making and confirming arrangements. Grammar is learned in context and explained in Finnish, so the focus stays on communication, not on decoding the explanation.
- Introducing yourself and your company professionally in German
- Managing basic business correspondence — emails, messages, confirmations
- Participating in meetings and calls at a beginner level with confidence
- Understanding and using core business vocabulary from the first session
- Making, changing, and confirming professional arrangements in German
- Building the grammar foundation that supports continued business German use
