Built on experience. Shaped by change.
Founded in 1979 in Tampere by the German lady Karin Kunz-Uusitalo and first called ABC Language School, in 1996 renamed for IWG Instituutti Oy (International Working Group), the organisation recognized early that language skills would become a critical capability for professionals and companies as working life became internationalized.
What began as a general language school quickly evolved. As business needs grew, professional and corporate training moved to the center of our work.
IWG Institute has always developed alongside the market — adapting to changing industries, shifting language demands, and new ways of working. We were early adopters of online learning and continue to refine how language training fits modern professional life.
Grounded in experience and shaped by the digital age, IWG Institute remains focused on one thing:
Language training that supports real work and delivers real results.
